In this introductory video, I share 5 qualities an entrepreneur can learn from Jesus.
1. Jesus had a passion.
Jesus had a passion for the Father, and a burning zeal to make His love known to the world. Jesus loved passionately, lived passionately and served passionately.
If we had just a fraction of that passion for our businesses, we will have the motivation we need to succeed.
2. Jesus came for a purpose.
The sole reason Jesus came to the earth was to give His life as a ransom for many.
Yes, He did come to heal the sick and set the captives free. But His primary purpose was to sacrifice Himself on the cross so we could have eternal life. This one purpose directed everything Jesus said or did.
It is absolutely important for us to have a purpose for our businesses. Unless we decide on what specific mission we are trying to accomplish through our business, we will have no clarity on how to move forward.
3. Jesus had no fear.
Jesus faced a lot of opposition on the earth, and yet He remained unfazed. He kept moving forward fearlessly, knowing fully well that He would have to ultimately face death itself.
Fear will grind your business to a screeching halt. But make the decision to fight your fears, and you will see unanticipated growth.
4. Jesus served others first.
Jesus thought about the others, cared for them, and took care of their needs before His own. He made sure the hungry had food to eat, and the sick were healed before He continued on with His business.
If you want your business to succeed, think about the needs of those you are serving through your products/services. Put their needs before your own and cater to them. It will make a remarkable difference in the direction your business is headed.
5. Jesus gave unconditionally.
Whatever Jesus gave the people, He gave unconditionally. Whether it was healing or deliverance, He offered it with no strings attached.
As entrepreneurs, we need to learn how to give unconditionally. Yes, we do need people to sign up for our newsletter or purchase our products. But make sure you also give something for free – with no strings attached.
These 5 qualities shared in today’s video is just a sampling of what is to come. I will be releasing an entire video series, explaining more qualities we can learn from Jesus.
