Today, I thought I’d share with you some of the highlights from my trip, and a few major takeaways from my time there.
I was pretty nervous about going on my first ever international trip, and that too alone!
But all my fears were unfounded as I had a relatively hassle-free travel experience, despite having to change flights a couple of times.
I was simply blown away by the hospitality of Angela and the rest of the LGG core team. They showered us with love in the most ingenuous ways!

My first day – soon after I arrived.
It was an action packed week with several sessions by noted Christian authors and leaders. I too conducted a session on SEO and its significance for online ministries.

Amazing time learning together.

We got to be part of the LGG Praise and Prayer Worship Concert that was held in Angela’s church.

Mid-way through the concert, a few of us got to share Galatians 4:17 in our native languages. Here is a video clipping of that part of the program:
It was lovely to meet with one of my favorite authors, Sally Clarkson and her daughter, Joy. Sally shared such life-giving words with us during her time there.

The one thing that stands out most for me was that we needed to consider our immediate families, our husbands and children, as our primary ministry. Everything else, such as our jobs and outside ministries, had to come later.
The whole team got to attend Lake Pointe church on Sunday. It was a beautiful experience worshiping together.

We also watched the red moon together!

The moon looked magnificent.
One unforgettable event was a cruise we took on Lake Ray Hubbard towards the end of our stay there.

All set for the cruise.

I was certainly blessed by my time there, and experienced many firsts… including a taste of marshmallows!

The LGG core team and the entire neighborhood at Rockwall, Texas were so kind and caring toward us. They lavished their love on us in such tangible ways.

A token of love for Angela – an autographed frame.
Even while I was being filled during the LGG Intensive, I knew it wasn’t for me to hoard up. God is leading me to pour out into the lives of others, what has been poured into mine.
He blesses us, that we might be a blessing to others. And that’s exactly what I hope to do in the coming days… 🙂
To wind up, I just wanted to thank all those who prayed for my trip. I truly appreciate your prayers, and I know God answered them in ways I couldn’t have even imagined… Thank you!
