An Open Letter to My Readers

My dear friends, It's been a while since I wrote something non-technical and straight from my heart, so I thought I'd do that today. We've officially kick-started our fourth year of Clothed In Scarlet! Hurray! :) When the website was launched in 2013, I was a content, full-time work at home mom. My husband had a regular (albeit, stressful) job that required him to travel for a few months, but we made it work. Early last year, we took the plunge and decided to start our own business. It has pretty much shaken me out of my comfort zone and kept me clinging to God

A Peek into my Week at the LGG Intensive

In my last blog post, I shared how I was traveling to Texas for a week long intensive training with the Love God Greatly team. Today, I thought I'd share with you some of the highlights from my trip, and a few major takeaways from my time there. I was pretty nervous about going on my first ever international trip, and that too alone! Not long ago I posted a status update on Facebook that read: After experiencing my personal share of business failures, I can honestly say... "Failure is the stepping stone to success"! On reading that statement, a good friend and long time reader of Clothed In Scarlet expressed her interest in reading more about business failures I had encountered in the past. Well, if I had to go in detail into all my business failures, I would have enough to fill a book! So, let me start by sharing with you my very first major business failure. You know why it failed? Because it

A Year of Clothed In Scarlet – Blog Anniversary + Free Gift

This time last year, I was enthusiastically adding the final touches to the Clothed In Scarlet home page that would launch a week later. As I look back over the past year, I stand amazed at how far the site has come. I started it with a vision God laid on my heart and now I see how He has fleshed it out to be so much more. Today, I'm reminiscing about the past year, and sharing a special gift for you, my dear readers. The journey we undertook at Clothed In Scarlet over the past year has been innovative, fun,
